What does the “Salut bande de…” meme mean?
The line marks the entrance of an explosive character greeting the audience with no filter and plenty of energy. People use it to open a video, a voice note or a speech in a funny way, imitating Camille’s voice. By extension it names a style: the parody tutorial that promises to teach something “while having fun” and goes off the rails. The tone is irreverent, typical of 2010s web humor, and it works mostly as an impression among friends who know the series.
Where does the “Salut bande de…” meme come from?
Les Tutos is a series of comedy videos first published on YouTube through Studio Bagel’s channel, then on a dedicated channel. Each episode pretends to teach an everyday subject, such as a cupcake, a hamburger, crêpes, back-to-school prep or a Star Wars costume, and the descriptions repeat the promise of learning “while having fun”. Some videos in the series passed ten million views, which made Camille’s greeting a classic of French online humor. The series went online several years ago and keeps circulating as clips.

The reprint of the “Salut bande de…” card
The “Salut bande de…” card was reprinted as Epic (No. 2,944). A reprint is the same meme printed again, with a number of its own and a higher rarity than its first printing, which was rare. Its face reads “Reprinted card · Higher rarity”.
Every printing is dealt in the packs of the Memes FR pack, each at its own rarity: the higher it is, the rarer the card is to pull. Copies of the first printing already pulled stay as they are, and any printing counts toward completing a set.
MyMemeCards reprints a meme when it deserves more than the rarity of its first printing, such as a classic that became iconic after it came out: the reprint gives it a place among the most sought-after cards without taking anything from the players who already had it.
