In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Sur des Tolisso” is a rare card of the Memes FR pack, number 2280 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3493 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Sur des Tolisso” meme mean?
The phrase describes someone losing their temper over player-market trades in FIFA: a failed purchase, a sale at a loss, a price that suddenly collapses. It teases an over-the-top reaction to virtual cards, in the friendly spirit of players who have all watched their coin balance melt in minutes. You use it on a friend yelling at the controller, or to play down your own bad trade with a bit of self-mockery.
Where does the “Sur des Tolisso” meme come from?
Corentin Tolisso is a French midfielder who has played for Olympique Lyonnais, among other clubs. His name is tied to a French YouTube video titled “OMG BRAK RAGE SUR FIFA 17 + TOLISSO”, in which a player is carried away by anger in the Electronic Arts football game. The card keeps that mood: a gamer losing it over buying and reselling, the Ultimate Team habit of picking up players cheaply to sell them for more. French-speaking communities that love quoting live meltdowns kept the line alive, and it now fits any moment when a player market goes wrong.

The reprint of the “Sur des Tolisso” card
The “Sur des Tolisso” card was reprinted as Epic (No. 2,618). A reprint is the same meme printed again, with a number of its own and a higher rarity than its first printing, which was rare. Its face reads “Reprinted card · Higher rarity”.
Every printing is dealt in the packs of the Memes FR pack, each at its own rarity: the higher it is, the rarer the card is to pull. Copies of the first printing already pulled stay as they are, and any printing counts toward completing a set.
MyMemeCards reprints a meme when it deserves more than the rarity of its first printing, such as a classic that became iconic after it came out: the reprint gives it a place among the most sought-after cards without taking anything from the players who already had it.
