The scene comes from a video on Amixem’s channel. Amixem is a web video maker from Lyon, born in 1991, who started his channel in November 2012. Thomas Deseur is one of the three fans Amixem hired on 20 February 2020 to appear in his videos, along with Yvan Casta and Étienne Jouneau, known as Étienne Moustache. In an episode about building a treehouse, Étienne mentions a ratchet, and Thomas laughs that he is making up words. The exchange, filmed live, was cut out and shared as a clip. It became a classic reply to a technical word that means nothing to the listener.
