What does the “JEREMSTAR dans mon bain” meme mean?
The phrase points to an interview where a serious format meets an absurd setting: a guest, a foam-filled tub, a few rubber ducks. The mood is affectionate mockery, the way fans of reality TV laugh at their own obsession. People reach for it when an important or gossipy conversation happens somewhere completely unexpected, or when a friend is about to spill a secret. It also recalls a stretch of the French-speaking web when celebrity blogs and candidate interviews drove the buzz.
Where does the “JEREMSTAR dans mon bain” meme come from?
Jeremstar, real name Jérémy Gisclon, was born in Lyon on 4 January 1987. From 2011 he ran the website La Conciergerie de Jeremstar, devoted to reality-TV news, and published interviews with contestants from popular shows. The twist was the setting: the talks were filmed in his bathroom, with host and guest sharing a tub full of foam and rubber ducks. He also built a YouTube interview series called La Pyjama Party and became a major social-media figure, reportedly the most-searched French personality on Google in 2016. Between September 2017 and January 2018 he was a columnist on C8’s Les Terriens du dimanche. In March 2018 he announced that he would stop receiving reality-TV contestants in his bath, and the bathtub interviews came back in 2026.
