In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Le lama il sait” is a rare card of the Memes FR pack, number 1340 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3496 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Le lama il sait” meme mean?
The phrase plays with the idea of an unbothered animal holding a hidden truth. The llama, with its placid stare, becomes a silent oracle: it knows, and that is enough to make you uneasy. People use it to say a concealed fact will surface, to tease a friend who seems to know something, or simply to slip an absurd sentence into a chat. The repeated “il sait, il sait” builds a fake-dramatic mystery, and the contrast with the calm animal is what makes it funny.
Where does the “Le lama il sait” meme come from?
The meme boils down to one line, “He knows, he knows,” which points to the saying “le lama il sait,” an absurd repetition in which the animal is presented as the keeper of a mysterious secret. Like many online one-liners, it works without context: everyone adapts it to their own situation, as a caption for a llama photo, a staring animal or a person who seems to guess everything.
