LE T-SHIRT VOLÉ DE SIPHANO (GTA V) (Wankil Studio - Laink et Terracid)In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Le rap du feutre” is a rare card of the Memes FR pack, number 1755 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3493 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Le rap du feutre” meme mean?
The phrase stands for a rap thrown out mid-game, with no written lyrics and no artistic ambition. The fun comes from the contrast: rap is usually a serious craft, and here it becomes a pure goofing-around moment between friends. People use it to tease a friend who suddenly thinks he is a star rapper, or to wrap up a clumsy rhyme with a grin. The slightly absurd title does most of the work, announcing from the start that nobody is taking this seriously. Wankil Studio viewers also hear in it the duo’s usual mix of video games, silly bits and easy chemistry.
Where does the “Le rap du feutre” meme come from?
The rap comes from Wankil Studio, the video duo formed by Laink (Thomas Iturralde) and Terracid (Damien Laguionie). They started on Dailymotion, moved to YouTube, and are also active on Twitch, mostly making game-related content. The track is a freestyle Laink improvised during a session of GTA V. Its charm quickly outgrew the original video: fans covered it, remixed it, and even sang it in other languages, including Arabic. A musical version, “Le rap du feutre (Ashur4D Remix)”, credited to Ashur4D, came out in 2016 and is listed among the remixes tied to the duo. Since then the title has been a shared reference for fans, quoted whenever an improvised rap turns into a joke.
