La Flamme is a French parody comedy series of nine episodes of about 31 minutes, created by Jonathan Cohen, Jérémie Galan and Florent Bernard. Aired on Canal+ from 12 to 26 October 2020, it spoofs dating reality shows such as The Bachelor and remakes the American series Burning Love. Jonathan Cohen plays Marc, a suitor facing thirteen women competing for his heart. Leïla Bekhti plays Alexandra, a lawyer labelled “psychopath” in the elimination chart, who is eliminated and arrested in episode 7. Her repeated, screamed calls to Marc were cut into compilations and “best of” videos that launched the meme.
