Where does the “Brazil of Brazil!” meme come from?
Beatriz Reis dos Santos, born in Guarulhos in 2000 and known as Bia do Brás, worked as a street vendor in the Brás neighborhood of São Paulo before joining the Pipoca group on Big Brother Brasil 24, aired by Globo in 2024. The catchphrase came from a wordplay she already used outside the show, starting out as “Brasil do Brás” before evolving into “Brasil do Brasil.” Inside the house she repeated the line in jokes and in mock ads for the show's sponsors, and it caught on with viewers, getting reused in edits and videos online. After the show, Beatriz kept the catchphrase going through interviews, commercials and TV appearances, turning it into her personal brand.
