Matteo Montesi, a self-proclaimed prophet from Castelfidardo, had been posting catechism videos, sacred songs and life advice since the mid-2000s. Around 2011, Roman musician and video creator Christian Ice (Christian Nolli) remixed some of his sermons, twisting their meaning; furious at this "satanic" edit, Montesi hit back on video by mispronouncing his remixer's name and threatening him: "Guai a te Christianairte, Christianairte, guai a te!" The reply kicked off Christian Ice's series "Così Parlò il Profeta" (Thus Spoke the Prophet), which kept running episodes around the feud.
