Where does the “Strengthening Chicken” meme come from?
Omar Palermo, from Rossano in Calabria, launched his YouTube channel "Youtubo Anche Io" in 2017 and became known from early 2018 with mukbang videos in which he calmly ate enormous amounts of food, always warning viewers not to imitate him. One of his most quoted videos is titled "40 kinder fetta al latte e un pollo rafforzante": the contrast between the sheer size of the challenge and his flat, calm delivery turned the phrase into a running joke among Italian internet users. His channel passed 500,000 subscribers; his 2021 death triggered a wave of renewed views and quotes of the line.
