Vulvia first appeared in 2001 in L’ottavo nano on Rai 2, as host of the fictional channel “Rieducational Channel”, a parody of Rai Educational and Discovery Channel. She garbles words, is shallow, has Veronica Lake-style blonde hair and a slit red dress, and improvises muddled monologues about love. She rivals Alberto Angela, imitated by Neri Marcorè, and “mbuti” are among her favourite subjects.
