In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Khaypanem nemnozhechko” is a rare card of the Russian Memes pack, number 146 of the collection, and the 40th best-known meme of its 300 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Khaypanem nemnozhechko” meme mean?
The line announces, with mock sincerity, the intent to spark a tiny bit of buzz rather than a real event: it calls out a calculated move for attention, usually modest or even ridiculous compared to the result. The joke comes from the gap between the stated ambition (“hype”) and how small the actual move turns out to be.
Where does the “Khaypanem nemnozhechko” meme come from?
The meme appears in 2017 on the Runet out of the phrase “хайпанём немножко”, said in a light tone to announce a minor publicity move dressed up as an event. The card places the meme in the Runet format for 2017; no specific video or figure could be confirmed as the exact starting point despite searches on YouTube and the Russian Wikipedia. The gap between the borrowed English word “hype”, already mocked on the Russian-language internet, and how small the real gesture is, was enough to turn the phrase into a recurring jab at buzz-chasing, including when it targets the Russian internet itself.
