Where does the “Ravusss pulls R9” meme come from?
The meme comes from Ravusss, a French-speaking creator who streams football games and pack openings, notably on EA FC, on Twitch, with replays on YouTube under his name. In that format, viewers wait for the moment an exceptional card comes out, and the streamer’s reaction is the show. The line, “R9 les meeecs !”, is a long, shrill yell that expresses disbelief as much as joy. Cut into a clip, it spread as a sound to replay after any lucky break, even outside football. Its charm lies in the sincerity of the shout and a rhythm that is easy to imitate.
