In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Terracid’s PB” is a rare card of the Permanent Edition French Twitch Memes Season 1, number 25 of the collection, and the 43rd best-known meme of its 78 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.

What does the “Terracid’s PB” meme mean?

PB stands for personal best, a speedrunner’s fastest time. Shouting that you “blew up” your PB means a record fell by more than you ever hoped. The meme expresses explosive joy, disbelief and pride after a long, risky effort. People use it to celebrate any personal win, whether a time, a grade, a score or a sports result, with deliberately oversized excitement. It can also gently tease someone who celebrates a tiny improvement far too loudly.

Where does the “Terracid’s PB” meme come from?

Terracid is a French-speaking streamer who speedruns Minecraft on Twitch, with replays posted on the channel Wankil Studio - Les VOD. One of those replays is titled “PB OFFICIEL 22:38 - strat village”, which matches the time on the card. In November 2022 he dropped below that mark live and let out a roar of joy that became the reference clip. Chat shared the moment with him, giving it a communal feel. Cut into a clip, the scream is now reused online as a reaction to any personal record.

How to use the “Terracid’s PB” meme

  • Post the clip when you hit a personal record in sport or gaming.
