Where does the “Zevent 2026” meme come from?

ZEvent is a charity marathon streamed on Twitch, created by the streamer ZeratoR (Adrien Nougaret) and Dach (Alexandre Dachary), who still run it. The first edition, called “Projet Avengers”, took place on 4–6 March 2016 for Save the Children: sixteen streamers, 34 hours of live broadcast and 170,770 euros raised. It grew every year after that, gathering close to 91 million euros across ten editions. On 17 May 2026, during the ZLAN, ZeratoR announced that the autumn edition would be the last, marking the event’s tenth anniversary, saying he wanted to stop while things were at their best. The initial goal was at least 20 million euros. The event used a hybrid format, with streamers in Montpellier and others online, plus a concert the night before at the Sud de France Arena in Pérols. The final counter read 32,891,874 euros, roughly double the previous edition.
