What does the “C'est toujours ma faute” meme mean?
The line is posted as a sigh. It fits unfair accusations, the same reproach coming back around in a relationship, a family or a group of friends, and anything that always lands on the same person. The tone is not anger but tiredness: no defence, just a statement of fact. That is what makes it so easy to reuse as a caption or a comment.
Where does the “C'est toujours ma faute” meme come from?
“Sexy Nana”, by Aya Nakamura featuring La Rvfleuze, came out on 7 May 2026 on the album “Destinée Supremacy”. The song paints a self-assured woman, and the line “c'est toujours ma faute, tu dis, hein ?” lets the strain inside the relationship show through that confidence. Social media lifted that one line away from the rest of the track and turned it into a caption, as has often happened with the singer's hooks. The original meaning drops away in the process: outside the song, the phrase keeps only the shrug, and fits any situation where you are being blamed for something. The music itself fades into the background.
