In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Dis bonjour” is a rare card of the Memes FR pack, number 4359 of the collection, and the 753rd best-known meme of its 3497 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Dis bonjour” meme mean?
The scene plays on the gap between a commercial offer designed to push people to consume more and a customer who turns it into an act of sharing with a stranger. It shows a small, almost absurd burst of generosity, where the free taco changes hands for no obvious reason beyond the wish to make someone happy. Inside the game, the card points to that pleasantly surprising moment when a simple fast-food promotion becomes an excuse for a free gift to someone else.
Where does the “Dis bonjour” meme come from?
The “buy one, get one free” principle is a common fast-food promotion that pushes customers to take a second identical item for the price of one. The scene described here twists that usual mechanic: instead of keeping the extra taco for themselves, the customer chooses to give it to another person nearby, simply saying “dis bonjour” (“say hello”) before handing over the free taco. This unexpected, good-natured gesture turns a plain commercial deal into a small moment of sharing between strangers, built around a dish that has become very popular in French fast food.
