It is used to describe a video edit that leans on that distinctive, instantly recognizable sonic intensity, even when distorted.
Where does the “KAARIS ZOO” meme come from?
Kaaris, born Armand-Gnakouri Okou on 30 January 1980 in Abidjan, is a French rapper, songwriter, producer and actor. His track “Zoo” became a widely reused sonic reference online: countless parodies, slowed-down edits, instrumental covers and even versions with a radically different mood from the original have all been built around the same clip. This ongoing circulation, driven by many different content creators, turned “Zoo” into a recognizable soundtrack tied to Kaaris's name rather than a simple album track, which explains why the card pairs the artist's name directly with the song as “KAARIS ZOO”.
