People send it to ask for one last piece of chocolate, negotiate an outing, defuse an argument or claim the last slice. The comedy comes from contrast: a fearsome swordsman who turns, in an instant, into the cutest kitten. The look is also a way of admitting you are playing the card on purpose.
Where does the “Puss in Boots eyes” meme come from?
Puss in Boots first appears in Shrek 2 (2004), voiced by Antonio Banderas, the Spanish actor. He is introduced as a bounty hunter who attacks Shrek and Donkey, then turns the situation around with an adorable look and enormous eyes.
