In MyMemeCards, the meme card game, “Cliquez bandes de salopes !!” is a rare card of the Memes FR pack, number 1087 of the collection, and the 566th best-known meme of its 976 cards. Here is what the meme means, where it comes from, and how to get its card.
What does the “Cliquez bandes de salopes !!” meme mean?
The line says out loud what every platform asks under its breath: click, comment, come back. People quote it to mock a heavy-handed subscribe pitch, to tag a post that is openly begging for interaction, or to sign their own request for a click while owning how crude the move is. It works on the gap between a perfectly ordinary goal and a frankly threatening tone.
Where does the “Cliquez bandes de salopes !!” meme come from?
Morsay, real name Mohammed Mehadji, began posting pieces to camera in the late 2000s under the Truand 2 la Galère banner, including a series of “analyses” commenting on the news, on his rivals and on his own viewers. The register is sustained invective, and his order to click is its most quoted application: the French press and forums recorded it as his favourite line. The videos circulated through many re-uploads, often cut down to a few decontextualised seconds; several are now restricted or unavailable on the original accounts, which makes the date of first use uncertain. The collective also produced self-financed feature films, reviewed at the time by online film writers.
