On September 28, 2015, TV Anhanguera, a Globo affiliate in the Brazilian state of Goiás, aired a report on alleged ghost employees of the state legislature, said to collect salaries around ten thousand reais without working. Reporter Renata Costa approached Edinair Maria dos Santos Moraes, named as one of them, who refused to answer and ran off. The reporter chased her, shouting “ma'am? ma'am? if you have no problem, why are you running?” The clip went viral that same day on Twitter and inspired edits, then a mobile game, “Senhora Volta Aqui,” built like an endless runner.
