In May 2016, Brazilian comedy channel Porta dos Fundos released a sketch staging a fake surprise visit from TV host Xuxa Meneghel, filmed by a crew posing as the Record network. When the resident, played by actress Thati Lopes, opens the door, she fails to recognize Xuxa, mistakes her for fellow host Eliana, and blurts out “quem é essa gente toda aqui?” (“who are all these people here?”). A screenshot of the moment became a shared reaction on Twitter from 2016 onward, used whenever an unexpected crowd or visit shows up.
