The line comes from Big Brother Brasil 24, during the Carnival Sincerão (confrontation round) on February 12, 2024. Houseguest Marcus Vinicius called fellow contestant Michel and his allies “samambaias” (wallflowers) and side characters in the game. After the segment, Raquele confronted him and fired back: “Who are you, Marcus? Who are you to have the right to come here and say this to millions of people watching you?” Clips of the argument spread across Brazilian social media and split viewers over Raquele's game. The two later made peace, but the line had already taken on a life of its own online.
