What does the “Braquer un bar à matchas” meme mean?
The line imagines a moral code among criminals: some places are too innocent to target. Matcha, a drink tied to calm and wellness, makes the target feel unrealistic, which is where the humour lies. It is quoted to condemn an act seen as too low, to joke about an absurd limit, or to share the clip.
Where does the “Braquer un bar à matchas” meme come from?
The card quotes a statement from a stream: “Les casseurs ont une âme. On ne braque pas un Bar à matchas.” It belongs to the cult moments of Twitch, where a remark made live is cut into a clip and shared. The contrast between the world of robberies and a matcha bar, a peaceful and trendy venue, is the main comic engine.
